Redefining a Landmark
LBA Realty is pleased to announce the completion of the first phase of its $35-million renovation program at AT&T Center. Led by world-renown architectural firm, Gensler, the redesign provides for a transformation of both the interior and exterior, re-establishing AT&T Center as one of Los Angeles' true iconic mixed-use properties. The first phase of the renovation was recently completed in March 2007. The project includes a new architectural façade with dramatic exterior lighting, landscaping and a sophisticated renovation of the interior environment.
The exterior architectural changes, have refinished the tower with new attractive metal paneling, lighting and landscaping, updating the modernist design of the structure. The lobby and entrance now feature floor-to-ceiling glass walls, elegant wood paneling, brushed stainless steel accents, sandblasted granite walls and honed terrazzo floors. The renovation will provide a new corner restaurant location, a 40,000 square foot athletic club, and new retail and dining court locations at the lobby level that will be home to wide array of quality services and numerous quick-serve dining options.
The final phase of the renovation, expected to be complete in late 2008, includes a stunning new two-story, architecturally lit glass-crown at the top of the building that will further distinguish AT&T Center as an architectural landmark of the future and be visible from Downtown, Staples Center and the nearby 10 &110 freeways.
